Virgin Atlantic marketing director Simon Lloyd is leaving as part of a management restructure.
His marketing role will be taken on by global sales director Maria Sebastian.
Sebastian joined Virgin last summer after more than 15 years with American Airlines.
A spokesman for Virgin said: “Maria Sebastian will take on the expanded role of director of sales and marketing and will build on the great work carried out by Simon in launching the ‘Flying in the Face of Ordinary’ campaign.”
Earlier this month, Virgin chief commercial officer Julie Southern left after 13 years.
She lost out to former American Airlines executive Craig Kreeger for the job of chief executive.
