Movenpick Resort Taba, Egypt receives Green Globe Certification Award

Green Globe today announced certification for the sustainable management and operation of Mövenpick Resort Taba, Egypt. Located on the Sinai Peninsula, Mövenpick Resort Taba has 424 guest rooms facing the Gulf of Aqaba, and sits at the intersection of Egypt, Jordan, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.
Mr Guido Bauer, CEO Green Globe Certification said, ‘Mövenpick Resort Taba, has completed its independent audit and achieved an impressive 83% of Green Globe’s sustainability criteria. As a major tourism business in the holiday destination of Taba, Mövenpick Resort has demonstrated their leadership in sustainable management through their high level of compliance.
