Niche operator Acacia Africa has reinstated its Mozambique tours after the Foreign and Commonwealth Office removed its advisory covering Sofala province.
As of March 6, the FCO no longer advises against all but essential travel to Sofala province and Acacia Africa sales and marketing manager Arno Delport now says the country is hotly tipped to be one of Southern Africa’s most sought after 2015 destinations.
He said: “Mozambique was one of the most popular places to safari in our recent Facebook polls and we are now taking bookings for our 14-day Mozambique & Zimbabwe Explorer.”
