MSC confirms new MD
MSC Cruises has confirmed that its UK and Ireland managing director Giulio Libutti has left the company by "mutual agreement" after five years in the role.
He will be replaced by Giles Hawke, former sales and customer service director at Carnival UK and responsible for leading a cut to 5% commission at Carnival while in that role.
Hawke starts his new job at MSC in November.
"We are confident that Mr Hawke will be an excellent addition to MSC Cruises UK & Ireland and look forward to welcoming him on board," said Pierfrancesco Vago, CEO of MSC Cruises.
