MSC Cruises to stretch Magnifica
MSC Cruises has confirmed 24 sailings from Southampton in 2021 on a newly-refurbished MSC Magnifica.
From May to October, it will sail two to 14-night sailings with brand new itineraries including the Canary Islands & Madeira, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Baltic Capitals.
Most sailings will start on a Saturday.
"The UK market is a priority for MSC Cruises and we have shown our commitment consistently over the last few years," said Antonio Paradiso MD MSC Cruises UK & Ireland
"Firstly, with our first ever full EX-UK season in 2018, then with the naming of MSC Bellissima in Southampton in March this year and now with another full ex-UK season on a newly refurbished and enhanced ship with brand new itineraries created specifically with the British holidaymakers in mind."
MSC Magnifica will be stretched by 23 meters to add 215 extra cabins, a new water park, redesigned kids area, two new restaurants and a new shopping area.
Itinerary highlights include a 12-night cruise calling at Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote departing early May and a 14-night Western Mediterranean cruise in August calling at Palma de Mallorca and Monte Carlo.
MSC Magnifica will also offer four different Norwegian Fjord itineraries and will call at two brand new destinations; Skagen in Denmark renowned for hours of sun and unique light plus Rosendal, Norway, which is the world’s fourth largest fjord.
Cruises will go on sale on September 12 with prices starting from £149pp on a mini cruise and £549pp for a Norwegian fjords cruise.
To celebrate the launch of sales MSC Cruises will be offering up to £100 on board credit per cabin depending on the category of cabin booked on all MSC Magnifica ex-UK 2021 sailings.
