Munro’s Travel secures £2 million worth of new business
Energy and marine managed travel specialist Munro’s Travel has secured more than £2million worth of significant new business.
The company’s turnover has increased 25% in the last twelve months.
It comprises five newly awarded contracts, all secured within the last quarter.
Munro’s will manage the offshore, renewable and marine travel, both onshore and offshore, for its new clients.
The new managed travel clients include Peterson Energy Logistics which has more than 860 employees working globally.
Dron and Dickson Ltd are specialists in integrated supply and installation of hazardous area electrical equipment while Kraken Robotics is a marine tech company providing subsea sensors.
Elemental Energies is a global wells-focused energy consultancy.
Managing Director of Munro’s Travel Murray Burnett says: “Our technology solutions ensure traveller safety and help companies reach their sustainability goals.”

Munro’s 120th year (established 1903) has been a busy one and the firm has employed an additional 12 members of staff since January.
It has made significant investments in technology with the introduction of a new online booking tool.
This allows clients to book their own travel.
A new expense management tool launched which can capture and digitise expenses on the move.
An office move is also in the works as the Munro’s Travel management team look for a new site to house the team after the sale of their Union Street premises.
Murray added: “Although the pandemic accelerated the move to more remote working, this was not a new concept for our team.”
“Between our business development activities and a potential office move, 2024 look as if it will be an equally buoyant time for Munro’s.”
