NACTA expands to Canada
After a record jump in membership the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) has opened seven new regional chapters including a first in Canada.
NACTA president Ann van Leeuwen said the move follows a 95% percent increase in new member growth this year.
"NACTA chapters, under the leadership of Chapter directors, are an integral part of our success, allowing for local networking on issues and education relevant to the independent travel consultant," van Leeuwen said addressing the NACTA Annual Convention.
The new chapters expand the NACTA network to nearly 50 locations in North America.
New chapters opened include Delaware Valley, covering greater Philadelphia, Northern Virginia, Miami-Dade, and in Canada, an Eastern Ontario chapter, based in Ottawa.
NACTA also announced that the 2015 Annual Conference will take place at the Sheraton Kona Resort at Keauhou Bay.
