National Express launching new integrated holiday business
National Express unveiled plans for a new integrated leisure business offering UK breaks by coach.
It plans to bring together existing brands including Lucketts in Hampshire and Woods Coaches of Leicester, which sell breaks locally.
They will be integrated into a new business called National Express Leisure, giving it a nationwide reach.
The company says it will offers holidays and leisure travel with ‘ready-made or build-your-own packages.’
"We already have significant experience in offering travel in the UK, whether it’s a build your own package with Holidays by National Express, a coach holiday or day trip," said Tom Stables, CEO National Express, UK and Germany.
"There is a lot more opportunity in this market which we believe we can best tap into by building on our work with existing partners as one business being managed by a single expert team."
It will give new and existing travel agents ‘a new nationwide offering for their customers.’
