National Geographic-Lindblad launches Indonesia diving expeditions

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is set to launch a series of chartered across the Indonesia archipelago.
Aboard the 28-guest Aqua Expeditions-owned Aqua Blu, voyages willvisit the Komodo national Park, the Spice islands and the legendary dive sites of Raja Ampat
Aqua Blu features 14 suites and is the first long-range ocean explorer yacht based in East Indonesia,
Aqua Blu features five decks with indoor and al fresco dining areas, an outdoor wellness area and hot tub, plus a stylish lounge.
It is equipped with top-of-the-line snorkelling and diving offered at no extra cost for up to 10 experienced and certified divers at a time.

Indonesia’s Coral Gardens and Komodo Dragons (15 Days)
Beginning in October 2026, this expedition charts a course through Ithe Coral Triangle, to witness the world’s largest lizard in its natural habitat, dive or snorkel in the waters of Taka Bonerate National Park and explore the Banda Sea. Along the way, guests will have opportunities to kayak through mangrove forests, engage with local communities and deepen their understanding of conservation initiatives through expert-led discussions. Indonesia’s Spice Islands and Raja Ampat (15 Days)
Sailing deep into Indonesia’s famed Spice Islands, this expedition – debuting November 2026 – blends cultural discovery with unrivalled marine exploration. Guests will snorkel and dive in Raja Ampat, home to some of the most pristine coral reefs in the world, encounter centuries-old rock art in Misool’s lagoons and explore historic nutmeg plantations that once shaped global trade. This charter voyage series marks a notable expansion of Lindblad Expeditions’ expedition cruise portfolio with the launch of the new, dive-centric programme.
With the addition of Aqua Blu, Lindblad Expeditions’ fleet now consists of 22 expedition ships that it sells and operates on behalf of the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions co-brand.
