Two cruise ship guests have been busted for allegedly smuggling a large amount of marijuana aboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship.
Michael Quesenberry and Savannah Rose Minami are accused of possessing roughly 71.9 kilograms of marijuana.
The ship was set to leave Miami on a transatlantic voyage to Southampton.

They claimed it was for ‘personal use’ and one had a medical marijuana card at home.
“The packaging and quantity of marijuana in the luggage belonging to each of Quesenberry and Minami is consistent with drug trafficking and distribution,” the court affidavit said.
“Drug traffickers are increasingly turning to exportation of marijuana from the United States to England, due to the higher price of marijuana in England.”
Although state laws across the US differ over the possession and use of marijuana, it is a federal offense to take it onboard am international cruise ship.
