Continental Airlines started some new domestic and international routes to prepare for an anticipated strong summer season.

Among new routes:

New York/Newark to Edinburgh, Scotland and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Houtson to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and to Oaxaca and Toluga, Mexico; from Houston to Hayden.Steamboat and Montrose/Telluride, Colo.; from Cleveland to London, Salt Lake City, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Portland, Maine.
