“After recently visiting the Harley-Davidson Museum, I can t ell you it is something to include on your itineraries to the Milwaukee area. I am not a ‘biker’ but found the exhibits on the bicycles, motor-bikes, and motorcycles very informative.
The exhibits on how the Harley motorcycles played an important role in World War II was extremely interesting. The museum is more than a tribute to motorcycles. The gift shop, spacious washrooms and cafe makes this a great stop.”
Michael Th. Embrey, Executive Director – FunME Events Excursions & Entertainment The new Harley-Davidson Museum will offer both indoor and outdoor space for a variety of group events. A great meal location stop for a group in addition to seeing the museum.
A catered event for up to 15,000 people will be possible at the 20-acre complex’s outdoor space along the Menomonee River. Not only that, but the 130,000-square-foot museum will also have enough indoor space to accommodate up to 750 people for a sit-down dinner. Overall, five meeting rooms will be available at the museum, which will highlight Harley’s colorful and legendary history.
Also opening later in the summer in downtown Milwaukee will be a one-of-a-kind hotel that will=2 0cater to motorcyclists. The 102-room Iron Horse Hotel will be housed in a 100-year-old warehouse and will offer secure covered motorcycle parking and in-room storage areas for boots, helmets and heavy riding leathers. It will have meeting space, like the Harley-Davidson Museum, not to mention a business center.
