Hilton is to open a new, 357-bed hotel at London Stansted Airport in the summer of 2017.

The hotel, which will be operated by the Hampton by Hilton brand, will cost £45 million to build.

It will be sited next to the terminal building on a two acre plot.

The hotel forms part of Stansted parent MAG’s £260 million investment plan to attract more passengers, airlines and long-haul services to the Essex airport.

It will be the largest Hampton by Hilton in Europe.
