New Mercure hotel checking in to Seoul
Accor will open another Mercure branded hotel in South Korea this summer.
In partnership with Seohan Tourism Development, Mercure Ambassador Seoul Hongdae starts welcoming its first guests on August 1.
It features 270 guestrooms, a restaurant, lobby bar, meetings space and fitness centre.
Described by the company as ‘one of the hippest areas in Seoul’ Hongdae has a youthful vibe with bustling nightlife and underground culture.
"The opening of Mercure Ambassador Seoul Hongdae reflects the distinct character and culture of the precinct," said Vincent Lelay, Accor’s VP of operations for South Korea.
It becomes the third Mercure hotel in South Korea, and the 16th overall for Accor.
