New river cruises launched due to bouyant market

Friday, 11 Oct, 2012 0

The River Cruise Line has launched four brand new cruises for 2013 due to revenues ‘more than tripling’ through agents.

New cruises are Amsterdam, Antwerp, Ghent & Bruges, Scenic Rhine and Switzerland, Baltic Isles, Berlin & Poland and the Croatian Coast & Islands.

Steve Goodenough, director of sales, said: "We have been delighted with how sales through agents have grown this year, with revenues having more than tripled.

"Our affordable product with a choice of travel arrangements by coach, rail and air has filled a niche with agents and is riding high on the back of the increase in popularity of river cruising."
