New route links capital with Newcastle

Eastern Airways is launching a four times weekly service from London City to Newcastle from January 30.
The first flight will depart the north east at 7.05am with the first departure from the capital leaving at 9am.
London City managing director Richard Gooding said: “The new service is a destination in strong demand from the airport’s surrounding business community.”
