New tech chief for booking.com
Booking.com has hired a new tech chief.
The company has appointed Matt Swann as chief technology officer and joins from ticketing platform StubHub.
Swann was also chief information officer at Citibank, and served as vice president and global payments chief at Amazon.
“I’m really thrilled to be embarking on this new adventure with Booking.com. I’m looking forward to diving in with the Booking.com team to help further the brand’s mission to help people experience the world,” Swann said.
His experience of the e-commerce space, AI and global payments will be a big asset, said Booking.com CEO Gillian Tans.
Swann is relocating from San Francisco to Booking.com’s HQ in Amsterdam.
