New venue and dates for Business Travel Show - TravelMole

New venue and dates for Business Travel Show

Friday, 04 Oct, 2006 0

The Business Travel Show is moving to Earls Court next year and will take place two weeks later than usual.

Being held on February 13-15 at Earls Court 2, just around the corner from the old venue Olympia, it is expected to attract 200 exhibitors in 2007. This year it attracted 158 exhibitors and almost 7,000 visitors.

“We decided to move to Earls Court 2 because we outgrew Olympia after six years of increasingly successful shows there,” explained David Chapple, Business Travel Show event director.

“As well as providing us with more floor space and the potential for future growth, the layout at Earls Court means we can have a single level exhibition floor, which we believe makes it easier for visitors to get around the show.

“The new dates were chosen simply to give our exhibitors a little extra time to get organised after the Christmas break.”

The Business Travel Show has also strengthened its partnerships with ACTE, (Association of Corporate Travel Executives), ITM (Institute of Travel Management) and MPI (Meetings Professionals International).

Each association is creating a series of conference sessions for travel and meeting budget holders focusing on issues facing the business travel industry today, such as the debate surrounding corporate social responsibility.
