New web partner for DTV

Discovery Travel Systems (DTS) announced a new web content management solution, Vacation Partner. The tool can provide tour and vacation packagers the capability of a fully integrated website shopping and booking engine, coupled with an extensive inventory management system and air interface through Tour Partner. It’s offered as an ASP or site license agreement, company officials said. DTS, which provides solutions for various types of travel marketers and cruise lines, also announced the appointment of industry veteran Mike Scott as executive vice president.
