New York City ends most Covid restrictions
Once America’s epicenter of Covid-19, New York City has now lifted virtually all Covid-19 restrictions. It celebrated a return to normalcy with a huge firework display.
All restrictions at businesses and at social settings are lifted although masks are still required on public transportation and some curbs remain at healthcare facilities.
Businesses no longer require vaccinated people to wear masks or maintain social distancing, although individuals and businesses can still choose to do so.
