Newmarket Holidays adds new American West Itineraries

Escorted tours specialist Newmarket Holidays has expanded its US tour collection with new West Coast trips and a US tour exploring 10 of the region’s national parks.

Travelletrs can experience the best of the American West with Newmarket Holidays’ new 11-day escorted tour, Hollywood, Vegas, Palm Springs, and the Grand Canyon.

It kicks off in Buena Park with visits to Santa Monica’s famous pier and Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Guests then travel through the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas for Sin City’s nightlife, optional helicopter rides and time on the iconic Las Vegas Strip.

The tour continues past Hoover Dam to the rest-stop town of Seligman, where the vintage buildings include mid-20th century-style diners, a general store and gas station, before reaching Flagstaff, gateway to the Grand Canyon.

After exploring the canyon, travellers unwind in Palm Springs, with the option of riding the famous Aerial Tramway from the desert floor to the summit of Mt. San Jacinto Canyon.

A final stop in laid-back San Diego completes the trip.

Prices start from £2,499 per person, with departures in October and November 2025 and including nine nights’ room-only accommodation, return flights from the UK and excursions.

Fans of epic vistas can experience 10 national parks with Newmarket Holidays’ new 18-day group US tour, National Parks of the Great American West.

Starting in San Francisco, guests explore California’s Pacific Coast, Yosemite’s waterfalls and the giant redwoods of Sequoia.

The adventure continues through the Mojave Desert to iconic locations including Death Valley and Monument Valley and then into Utah to enjoy full days exploring Bryce Canyon, Zion, Capitol Reef and Canyonlands national parks, plus the rock features of Arches National Park.

The next stop is the Grand Canyon, with an optional helicopter ride before the journey wraps up in Palm Springs and Hollywood.

Prices start from £4,249 per person, with 16 nights’ room-only accommodation, return flights and excursions included.
