Newquay hotel fire: search to begin today
Fire experts are planning to gain access to the remains of Cornwall’s Penhallow Hotel, which was destroyed in a blaze at the weekend.
A 43-year-old man died while attempting to jump to safety, four people are in hospital and two others are missing after the fire, which started in the early hours of Sunday morning.
As yet, fire crews have been unable to search the area because the remains of the property, in Newquay, are still smouldering.
