Niagara Falls, NY to host 2026 IITA travel trade event
Niagara Falls, NY has been chosen as the 2026 host destination for the International Inbound Travel Association Summit.
The IITA Summit is confirmed for February 8-11. In Niagara Falls.
Official DMO Destination Niagara USA is an active member of IITA and submitted the winning bid in
collaboration with the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino.
The IITA Summit brings hundreds of travel organizations together to do business.
They put together US itineraries and travel services for visiting international travelers.
“Niagara Falls USA is a major attraction for international visitors and these travel producers will get to experience it first-hand,” said Lisa Simon, CEO/Executive Director, IITA.
While still recovering, international visitation to the US has historically generated more than $235 billion in travel exports from nearly 80 million visitors annually.
“The international inbound markets are essential to the growth of the Niagara Falls USA visitor economy,” said John Percy, CEO, Destination Niagara USA.
“IITA delivers education and training designed to help the industry grow international travel.”
Niagara USA will bring IITA’s Inbound Insider Steps to Success travel trade training program to the area prior to the Summit to help prepare local travel suppliers.
“Our friends at Destination Niagara USA have demonstrated their commitment to rebuilding international visitation and will have the advantage of preparedness as a result of the training,” said Simon.
