No Hawaii cruise calls until 2022
Hawaii confirmed there will be no cruise ship calls in Hawaii until 2022.
"We do not anticipate approving port call for cruise vessels with passengers in the time remaining in 2021," Hawaii Department of Transportation spokesman Jai Cunningham said.
Cunningham said ‘preparations and coordination’ is still required ‘to ensure Hawaii residents feel confident in the plan to resume cruising.’
Carnival Cruise Line was forced to cancel port call to Hawaii scheduled for early December. Princess Cruises’ Grand Princess and the Viking Orion are scheduled to dock in early January.
