No injures reported in California quake

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of northern California early Thursday, but caused no injuries or damage.
The epicenter was 165 kilometres west of Ferndale, California, at a shallow depth of 10 kilometres.
There was no tsunami warning issued, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center of the National Weather Service said on its website.
Some social media users said they felt the tremor in San Francisco, more than 400 kilometres south.
It is the third quake of more than a 4.0 magnitude to have hit California in the past week.
On Wednesday, a 6.5 quake struck Indonesia, killing more than 100 people in Aceh province.
