Friday, 18 December 20093 min read

Flights from Manchester to Singapore are to rise from three to five a week from next March.
Singapore Airlines is raising the frequency as it adds Munich to the route between the UK and its base.
Flights will operate five times a week on a Singapore-Munich-Manchester routing.
Other SIA changes include the suspension of operations to Pakistan as well as Nanjing in China.
Changes will begin on December 18 when Singapore-Moscow-Houston frequency will increase to five per week from four.
Non-stop Singapore-Newark flights will return to daily operations from January 19 from five-times-weekly.
Also from the start of summer 2010, Colombo and Dhaka will each be served daily, up from five flights per week.
Frequency to Mumbai and Delhi will be increased from March and June 2010, respectively. Flights will be operated twice-daily to both Indian cities, up from the existing 11-times-weekly.
Services to Seoul will also increase from June, to 18-times-weekly from 14-times-weekly. One of the daily flights carries on to San Francisco.
