Norway raises terrorism threat level

Norway has raised its terrorism threat level from ‘probable’ to ‘possible’ following the discovery of an explosive device in Oslo.

The bomb-like device was made safe after it was discovered on Saturday night near an underground station in the centre of the city.

A 17-year-old asylum seeker from Russia has been detained on suspicion of handling explosives.
