Number of unvaccinated United employees dramatically drops
United Airlines says the number of unvaccinated employees is now about half compared to its previous total of 593. It says more employees this week uploaded their vaccine cards after United announced it would start firing unvaccinated staff.
United has the strictest vaccine mandate policy of any US airline. It says there are now just 320 unvaccinated. About 2,000 employees have applied for exemptions on medical or religious grounds.
