On the Beach launches booking app
Online travel agent On the Beach has launched a new holiday booking app, giving British holidaymakers the chance to search and book holidays from their iphones.
It follows the launch of a mobile website in 2013.
The OTA says over 25% of traffic to its website now comes via smartphones.
The free app uses new technologies that bring search results back instantaneously and allows users to personalise their hotel and flight results based on their favourite holiday destination, board basis, star rating, along with many other more filters.
Holidaymakers are also able to add in-resort transfers to their booking.
