One person died and 11 others were injured after a tour bus crashed into a tree in California.
The bus was carrying a group of teens from China returning to their hotel after a visit to Yosemite National Park.
The California Highway Patrol said the bus veered off Highway 41 north of Oakhurst and hit a tree before coming to a halt down an embankment.
The Chinese students were all aged between 12 and 15 years old along with four adult chaperones.
"Five of them were transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno and seven of them to Children’s Hospital," said Sgt. Michael Schwab of the California Highway Patrol said.
One was later pronounced dead and another suffered head trauma.
Highway 41 was later reopened after a closure of several hours.
The bus was operated by Top Line Charter of Monterey Park, Los Angeles.
