Asia focused ONYX Hospitality Group just completed a series of ‘Destination Representation’ events held across the UK this month.

It is part of a series of sales missions in key markets which just recently included India.

The UK events were designed to expand travel industry partnerships across regional UK locations, showcasing ONYX’s Asia hotel and resort brands.

Held in Wetherby and Aylesbury, the industry gatherings featured networking opportunities, presentations, and quizzes with prizes.

It was organised by UK based Destination Representation, to connect agents with a wide range of travel suppliers focused on long-haul holidays.

ONYX operates the brands Amari, OZO, Shama, and Oriental Residence.

ONYX’s participation gave travel agents updates and product knowledge about its hotel portfolio features.

Attending agents were all qualified long-haul travel sellers, from companies such as Born 2 Travel, Designer Travel, Spa Travel, Arundel Travel, and Travel Counsellors.

They had the opportunity to engage directly with Andrea Hogg, Director of Global Sales for the UK & Ireland at ONYX Hospitality Group.

The agents were given a detailed presentation on ONYX’s properties.

“These long-haul events were incredibly successful. I was thrilled to network with key players in the UK travel industry and have the opportunity to make new connections in different regions,” said Hogg.

“These interactions will undoubtedly help us to enhance our visibility in the UK market and strengthen our relationships with valuable partners.”

The UK is a crucial market for ONYX Hospitality Group,
