OpenJaw Technologies acquires Traventec to accelerate growth strategy
Dublin and Galway, Ireland – 4th September 2008 – OpenJaw Technologies, a leader in delivering high performance travel distribution solutions to the global travel industry, today announced that it has acquired Galway based Traventec, a company specialising in the provision of travel technology services.
Under the acquisition agreement, Traventec becomes a fully owned subsidiary of OpenJaw Technologies and will operate under the OpenJaw brand. The acquisition will enhance OpenJaw Technologies’ solution portfolio and service offerings to global travel companies in the development of their ecommerce strategies, creating agile and dynamic solutions to address their business challenges. Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
