Packed beaches did not spread Covid, say scientists

Thronging beaches in the UK last year did nothing to spread Covid, scientists have said, in remarks that could support calls for a spring resumption of domestic travel.
Experts said there were no known cases of beach-related Covid, with only 10% of transmissions linked to outdoor events.
