Passenger assistance accident costs United Airlines $30 million

United Airlines will pay out a mammoth $30 million in settlement due to a passenger assistance accident filed in an airline lawsuit.
Quadriplegic Nathaniel Foster Jr went into a coma after an incident when being wheeled off a plane.
The family claimed in the airline lawsuit staff ‘failed to abide by the standard of care owed to disabled passengers.’
A passenger service agent ‘aggressively’ pushed his wheelchair, the airline lawsuit claimed
It led to an accident causing ‘significant and permanent’ brain damage, it said.
Foster is unable to speak or eat solids, the suit stated.
United settled the lawsuit this week.
At the time of the accident Foster was in a wheelchair and used a ventilator and tracheal tube.
After being ‘jerked forward and back’ Foster suffered a heart attack.
