A man was booted from a JetBlue flight at New York after allegedly harassing the daughter of President-elect Donald Trump.
Ivanka Trump was travelling with spouse Jared Kushner and children when confronted by a fellow passenger.
New York University professor Mark Lasner said his husband Dan Goldstein was ‘chasing them down to harass them’ in a social media post which has now been deleted.
In a later post, also now deleted, Lasner said Goldstein ‘expressed displeasure in a calm tone. JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off the plane.’
Other passengers described the man as in an ‘agitated’ state who yelled: "they ruin the country now they ruin our flight."
JetBlue said in a statement: "The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight."
"In this instance, our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight."
