Penrose to speak at ABTA Travel Matters
ABTA has confirmed that tourism minister John Penrose will speak at its annual Travel Matters event in May.
Taking place at Millbank in Westminster, the event will provide a platform to discuss the support for outbound, inbound and domestic tourism and how to improve the UK’s global connectivity, said ABTA.
Also speaking will be councillor Daniel Moylan, deputy chairman of Transport for London; head of UK Aviation Policy Development Department for Transport John Parkinson, Thomas Cook CEO mainstream Ian Ailles, UK Inbound CEO Mary Rance, TUI Travel group counsel Mike Bowers, Travel Republic managing director Kane Pirie and VisitEngland CEO James Berresford, who will join Penrose on a panel discussion about the UK tourism mix.
The event will be moderated by ITV News Special Correspondent Daisy McAndrew who moderated last year’s event.
