Phil Hoffman on the SuperStar Gemini?
With Adelaide’s Phil Hoffman recognised as the owner of some leading cruise specialist travel agencies and also his involvement in leading cruise wholesaler Cruiseco, it was good to see that Phil had sent his is top cruise agents along to experience at least a short trip on the SuperStar Gemini from Adelaide to Melbourne.
I have to say that I expected Phil to pop his head around a corner any moment
While The Mole has some great pictures of the Hoffman family/team enjoying themselves they will have to wait until Monday when The Mole is back in the land of high speed internet access, but the Mole did take the chance of having chat with them.
With all the Hoffman team saying that they were having a fabulous time, some, about 50/50, said that they preferred larger ships, but they all clearly liked the SuperStar Gemini, saying that they were really enjoying everything about her and wished they could stay on longer.
They all added that they would recommend the Gemini to their clients and as The Mole mentioned yesterday, they were all amazed by the quality of welcome and service by all the crew, which they described as fantastic and the best they had ever seen or expereinced.
Some thought that the Gemini cruises around Australia were particularly suitable for first time cruisers and in particular the short city to city legs that were available through agents.
They also highlighted the excellent condition of the ship and how clean everything was and also that it was a highly personalised cruise with the vessel being smaller, rather than the impersonal nature of larger vessels.
One of the Hoffman team said that while the passengers on this particular cruise tended to be older, he thought that the smaller size of this vessel and her excellent leisure and children’s facilities and very friendly crew would be great for families.
More from the SuperStar Gemini next week, but in the meantime, for more information visit www.starcruises.com or www.cruiseagents.travel
Oh by the way Phil, in you absence they all behaved very well indeed, well, nearly all….except for the incident with the cocktails and, oh yes I nearly forgot, the table dancing thing – very impressive………only joking guiys!!
