Johnson the Plan B will be reviewed again on 5 January.
The app stores and verifies vaccine status or a negative lateral flow test.
Health Secretary Sajid Javid told the Commons there are nearly 600 cases of Omicron confirmed, but the real figure could be ‘closer to 10,000.’
MPs will vote on the Plan B measures next week with a number of Tory MPs expected to rebel.
Still, it is expected to pass with support from the Opposition.
