P&O Cruises’ upcoming Indonesia itineraries will soon include an overnight in Bali.
For the first time cruisers can overnight on the Island of the Gods during the12-day sailings departing Fremantle on April 9 and May 28, 2017.
The voyage also features port calls at the island of Komodo, Lombok and Probolinggo, Java.
With more time ashore, an expanded range of shore excursions are available including an immersive Balinese farming experience to spend a day with a local family, working in a rice paddy and harvesting coconuts.
"We’re always thinking of ways to introduce new experiences into our itineraries and by opening up our Indonesian cruises to include overnight stays in Bali, we’re allowing our guests the freedom to really immerse themselves in the beautiful Balinese culture," said P&O Cruises president Sture Myrmell.
"With our fare including accommodation, transport, meals, and calls to four Indonesian ports, this cruise really represents unbeatable holiday value."
The May sailing is priced from $899 per person based on quad share.
It is part of P&O’s biggest Fremantle season yet with the 1500-guest Pacific Eden returning for a three-month season until July 3, 2017.
The schedule of 14 cruises include the line’s first sailing to the Kimberley with the inaugural cruise call to Kuri Bay, a remote coastal bay north of Broome.
