P&O Cruises Takes Kids Cruising for Free!
P&O Cruises is offering Kids Cruise Free deals on more than 20 Pacific Dawn and Pacific Sun sailings from Sydney and Brisbane throughout 2008 – including school holidays.
Under the offer, kids aged 12 years and under** can hop onboard P&O Cruises’ latest ship, the superliner Pacific Dawn, for free on March 18, 2008 and sail from Sydney to the magical destinations of Isle of Pines, Noumea and Ouvea, with adult fares starting from $1486 per person twin share.
Or kids can cruise free on a seven-night Pacific Sun holiday to beautiful Noumea, Lifou and Vila, departing Brisbane on January 26, 2008, with adult fares starting from $1195 per person twin share*.
The Kids Cruise Free deal – available for bookings made by September 30, 2007 on selected sailings in January, April, July and December 2008 – means that children 12 years and under will have accommodation, main meals and entry to kids’ clubs provided free of charge when travelling in a cabin with two adults.
Family cruising with P&O Cruises is exceptionally popular and thousands of families enjoy holidays on the company’s ships each year. Families account for almost 30 per cent of P&O Cruises’ passengers and repeat bookings for families are very high.
In fact, Holidays with Kids Magazine’s 2006 reader’s poll recently named P&O cruises Australia the best “child-friendly and all-round best family cruise operator”.
Cruising offers a perfect family getaway – children are busy with their own programs and entertainment while parents spend time together soaking up the sun on deck, enjoying one of the many activities on offer or just unwinding.
Younger children, older kids and teenagers all have their own clubs supervised by professional child and youth co-ordinators who run activities designed to keep kids busy and active all day long and into the night. Babysitting services are also available for younger children in the evening.
The 70,000-ton Pacific Dawn was designed by famous Italian architect Renzo Piano and features 11 decks with two swimming pools, a choice of five evening dining areas, nine bars and lounges, a three-storey atrium lobby, “The Dome” entertainment area, a two-storey show lounge, fitness centre and dedicated children’s facilities.
The 47,000 ton Pacific Sun provides endless enjoyment with a huge 35-metre waterslide and three kids’ clubs guaranteeing entertainment for all ages.
