Ponant names new Asia Pacific CEO
Expedition cruise line Ponant has announced a number of changes to its Asia Pacific leadership team.
Deb Corbett has been appointed as CEO of APAC.
She has spent seven years with Ponant and has 30 years industry experience.
Corbett will be assisted by the Ponant management team, including Maxime Farrenq, who has been appointed COO and Julie Rogers, Director of Sales.
Rogers’ sales portfolio has been extended to now include Japan and Hong Kong.
David Marionneau has been appointed to the new role of Director of Maritime Operations.
Also in the Ponant management team is Charles Boutet, Director of Marketing & Communications; Mick Fogg, Director of Expedition & Destination Development; and Helene Delgado, Customer Engagement Director.
In her role as Global Senior Strategic Advisor and Honorary Chairwoman, Sarina Bratton will continue to advise the APAC team.
A focus of this will be developing the PASPALEY PEARL by PONANT business and start-up operations.
Deb Corbett and the team will manage the overall Ponant Group business, with Deb reporting to Deputy CEO Global Business, Belinda Hindmarsh.
Bratton said: “Ponant is fortunate to have such high calibre executives to manage the APAC region and it is with great delight that Deb Corbett is appointed to the CEO role.”
Corbett replaces Chris Hall who departs the company at the end of June.
