Ponant revamps Asia Pacific commercial team

Expedition cruise line Ponant has announced a restructuring of its Asia Pacific commercial team.

In response to accelerated growth, Ponant has made changes and promotions within its existing sales team.

Under the leadership of Deb Corbett, GM Sales & Marketing Asia Pacific, Annabelle Brown takes on the role of State Manager VIC & TAS; while Janelle Ramsey becomes State Manager QLD & NT.

Also Kristina Sambaher is named State Manager NSW & ACT, with Sandra Cahill assuming the position as Inside Sales Executive

Following the departure of Bianca Bratton, Alan Wilcock is Business Development Manager, New Zealand.

Kate Hansen takes on a new role within its Australian commercial team of State Manager WA & SA.

She brings years of experience in travel spanning retail travel, luxury touring, wholesale and cruise and begins in the new role on 20 May 2024.

Ponant also announced promotions and new appointments in key Asian markets.

Manish Sonar, previously Business Development Executive for India & Sri Lanka, has been promoted to Business Development Manager – India & SE Asia.

This ensures wider support of the emerging markets in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

The Ponant Shanghai office managed by Jin Zhang, Head of Commercial & Marketing – North Asia sees Phoebe Liu promoted to the newly created role of Business Development Manager – North China. 

“These structural enhancements meet the evolving needs of our valued travel agent partners in the Asia Pacific region,” said Deb Corbett, GM Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific.
