Ponant unveils 2024 Kimberley season with new ship Le Jacques-Cartier
PONANT has unveiled its 2024 Kimberley sailing season aboard new expedition ship Le Jacques-Cartier
The ship will make its Australian debut, joining Le Lapérouse in the country.
Commencing in April 2024, a programme of 22 departures between Broome and Darwin offers expeditions through the landscapes of the Kimberley.
The popular 10-night ‘Australia’s Iconic Kimberley’ itinerary will be available on both Le Jacques-Cartier and Le Lapérouse throughout the season.
Le Jacques-Cartier offers 92 staterooms and suites, all with a balcony or private terrace.
Both vessels are purpose-built with Zodiac outings led by expedition guides.
Highlights on the itinerary include visiting the Hunter River inhabited by estuarine crocodiles; discovering King George River on a Zodiac excursion and the Twin Falls, the highest in Western Australia.
