Ponant unveils Antarctic 2025 summer season
Expedition cruise line Ponant has released details and opened sales for its 2025-2026 Antarctic summer season.
It plans 34 departures sailing eight itineraries aboard Ponant sister ships Le Boréal, Le Soléal, L’Austral and Le Lyrial, as well as 6 departures on icebreaker Le Commandant Charcot.
Ponant will have a presence in the Antarctic throughout the southern summer period.
Expedition cruises cover the Antarctic Peninsula to the Falklands, South Georgia, the Ross Sea, Chilean fjords and Valdés Peninsula.
“It promises unparalleled opportunities for guests to witness the diverse ecosystems of Antarctica, guided by our expedition and naturalist guides,” said Deb Corbett, General Manager Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific.
The Ponant sister ships will cover a wide area including New Zealand’s sub-Antarctic islands and the Chilean fjords.
There will be zodiac landings, kayaking and observing marine fauna plus lectures and information sessions hosted by naturalist guides.
