How would you like to fly coach class for $99 and enjoy snacks and wine, and sit in spacious seats with leather upholstery and added legroom?

You can but the catch is you have to be going between Newark Liberty International Airport and Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA).

Regional carrier Porter Airlines is offering reduced fares on regularly scheduled service between the two areas at summer season prices. Tickets are available for $99 but a seven-day advance purchase is required. Passengers can purchase tickets for Porter flights through a travel agent, online at www.flyporter.com by calling (888) 619-8622.

The “Summer Seat Sale” schedule coincides with Porter’s seasonal flight schedule, which features six round-trip flights every weekday, three round-trip flights Saturday and five round-trip flights Sunday for a total of 38 flights per week.

“Porter’s new and innovative air service between New York and Toronto has acquainted New Yorkers with a fully refined flight experience based on the airline’s unique model of short-haul luxury, committed to convenience, speed and service,” according to the airline.

All Porter passengers have access to a modern, comfortable and stylish lounge at TCCA, including wireless Internet access, refreshments and a business center.

Porter Airlines flies from its own dedicated terminal at TCCA, one of the most convenient urban airports in the world, situated just minutes from downtown. Complimentary Porter shuttle buses offer passengers a short transfer to Union Station, only steps from the financial and entertainment districts. The airport is also accessible by public transit, taxi, limo or personal vehicle.

Porter Airlines Inc. is a regional passenger carrier based at Toronto City Centre Airport. The airline currently serves Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, New York (Newark) and Mt. Tremblant.
