Porter Airlines resuming operations in September
Porter Airlines’ long grounding will finally come to an end in September. After nearly 18 months’ inactivity, the Toronto based airline will resume operations on 8 September.
It will start flying to Halifax, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, St. John’s, NL, Thunder Bay. From 17 September, it will fly US routes to Boston, Chicago, New York and Washington DC.
It plans to recall 500 workers soon for the first phase resumption of domestic flights.
