Portugal relaxes Covid travel restrictions from UK
Portugal has eased restrictions for travel from the UK, allowing unvaccinated Britons to skip quarantine. All UK travellers aged 12 and over need only show proof of a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result to enter.
The new rules are effective until at least 16 September and are valid for the mainland. Travellers to the Azores and Madeira must show either a negative PCR test or a vaccine certificate to avoid quarantine.
