Thursday, 25 Sep, 2007 0

MALE, Maldives – The award-winning Hilton Maldives Resort and Spa has added another accolade to its list as it is bestowed with The President of Maldives Award for Human Resource Development.

The hotel is one of the largest employers of local staff in the country’s tourism industry. The award recognises the resort’s commitment to the welfare of its team via its extensive training and education programmes, which exceeded 50 hours per staff member in 2006.

The award comes at a time of change for the resort as it will rebrand as Conrad Maldives Rangali Island on 18 December in recognition of its world-class credentials and in preparation for further developments of its high service standards and luxury offerings.
