Fans of the pop star Prince will be able to pay homage from next month when Paisley Park in Minneapolis, opens to the public for tours.
The $10 million complex was completed in 1986 and is where Prince recorded 30 albums between 1987 and 2016.
The tours, which start on October 6, will enable fans to have the unprecedented opportunity to experience first-hand what it was like for Prince to create, produce and perform inside Paisley Park.
Visitors will get to see artefacts from Prince’s personal archives, including his iconic concert wardrobe, awards, musical instruments, artwork, rare music and video recordings, concert memorabilia, automobiles and motorcycles.
Prince, who died earlier this year, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and sold more than 100 million records, won seven Grammys and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
Prince’s family also announced a series of all night parties in honor of the Purple One, from October 12-14 at the Muse Event Center in downtown Minneapolis.
The ‘Dance on ‘Til Dawn’ nights are being billed as ‘three nights celebrating the life, music and legacy of Prince.’
