Princess Cruises has announced the line’s biggest ever deployment in Alaska with an extra 15% capacity being added for 2018.
Princess will deploy seven cruise ships to Alaska from summer 2018 with 130 Alaska cruise departures and more than three-quarters sailing to Glacier Bay National Park, from the US west coast, Vancouver, B.C. and Anchorage.
New for 2018, Island Princess will call at remote Icy Strait Point on every northbound Voyage of the Glaciers itinerary throughout the season.
Additionally, 22 more cruisetour options have been announced that visit Princess Wilderness Lodges.
"Princess continues to build on our long-standing recognition as the best cruise line in Alaska. There’s no better way to see Alaska’s glaciers, wildlife and national parks than from the perspective of our ships, exclusive rail service and Princess-owned wilderness lodges. We are proud to provide our guests even more opportunities to visit the Great Land in 2018," said Princess president Jan Swartz.
